Well, at least the ones in South Lake Union do. Every night around 9ish, we take our dogs out to a local park and let them run around and play. Everyone is so nice and the dogs love it. It's especially nice because SLU can be kinda scary at night. There is a drug and prostitution problem in this particular park, but when we are in a group with the dogs, no one bothers us! It's especially nice to talk to everyone about dog walkers, weird doggie behaviors and the like.
The only thing is that we of course are not supposed to let the pups off-leash. However, since there are rarely others in the park, and the dogs are quite well behaved, we let them run around. I know some people have said they were cited by the police - which floors me since I see drug deals on a weekly basis and have even seen a guy come running out of the bathroom with a prostitute on his heels.
For now, I have yet to get one and I guess the risk is worth it for Molly to run around with her friends and get some much-needed exercise before bed.
